Testing Site Update: Due to high demand and carrier delays, our free Neptune Beach site is offering PCR COVID tests ONLY UNTIL TOMORROW (8/25) @ 12pm (no rapid antigen testing). We apologize to anyone currently seeking rapid testing - however, while PCR tests have slower results turnaround, they are considered the gold standard in terms of accuracy and detecting the virus in those without symptoms.

Having quadrupled our testing capacity within the last week, Telescope Health is striving to provide free testing to anyone who needs it - we will continue to be innovative with our use of technology and site procedures in order to serve our #Jacksonville community in the best way possible. Rapid testing will resume tomorrow at 12pm.

DCPS School Board just voted and passed 5/2 an emergency rule mandating masks in school, for 90 days to start, beginning September 7. Huge appreciation for their willingness to listen and advocate for out children.

I was there Friday morning at 7:15 & it was great! It took 45min total. Which I thought was great AND we were waiting in our car & NOT in the hot sun with a sick person.

Why is City of Jacksonville not picking up the $125 cost?

The cost is 125 dollars I got out of the line

$150 and doesn’t take insurance!!!! No thanks...drive in town

I was not asked about insurance just told there was a 125 cost. I've had Florida Blue for years that I pay a premium for, THE city is doing free testing behind KMART. I was informed yesterday 7-7

Tammy Colcord

Michelle Pair Maze

Ridiculous that you won’t take insurance and also don’t give your expensive price.

There was a long line in the parking lot yesterday. Insurance covers, they just aren’t filing the claim for you. You can file yourself and get reimbursed. And according to federal law, you cannot be charged a copay for this particular vaccine. Nothing in life is free, including “free” covid testing. Someone, somewhere is covering the cost...and that’s taxpayers if you don’t have insurance, Medicaid or Medicare.

Avecina Medical on Racetrack road allows for insurance They do rapid testing make an appointment and go to a place that takes insurance. Please save money where you can!

This is strange my insurance was accepted and I did not have to pay insurance took care of it.

Janet Rouleau

Why would no insurance be accepted?

A vital message from Telescope Health COO & Co-founder Dr. Matthew Thompson about the importance of getting the COVID-19 vaccine, taken after his ER shift today at Baptist Medical Center Beaches / Baptist Health Jacksonville.

This was a great message. I saw it and told several people in discussion of Covid.

Well said Dr T. 👏🏼 I’m seeing soooo many covid positives in the clinic here in Vegas and have so many patients continuing to deal with long term residual effects from getting covid months and months ago!

That’s terrible! I just hope Lerpville doesn’t do anything stupid like have a huge concert at TIAA field tomorrow… 😂

Just had physical yesterday. Doctor said best Not to get. But if you elect to, avoid johnson and Johnson.

Thanks Matt! And thank you and all medical professionals for your hard work.

Love this message Dr. Thompson. Stay safe out there

Thank you Matt for your dedication and the help you provided me! - You and all the medical teams are amazing and I am so thankful for the help I received after the Delta variant found me even though I was vaccinated - and I am also thankful I did get the vaccine, because while this was bad if I didn't have the level of protection I had from the Pfizer 2 doses, I most likely would not be typing this note.

Thank You 🙏

Until the government stops unvaccinated and Covid positive people to cross our border it sounds like politics to me

U need to worry about or boarders then, what a joke

Bull Shit.. Political BS

Awesome message and I Thank you

If they are pushing for vaccinations Then someone tell me why are the ones vaccinated dying

Nope

Thanks Doctor 😊🙏. But you know as it was said it's a hoax. You will not convince everyone. People listen to the Doctor not political views. Stay safe mask 😷up.

No science all politics

Great message Dr. Thompson. Thank you and God bless. John and Melissa Stimler

Thank you, Dr. Thompson.

Great message Matt!

Thank you Matt!! I pray this convinces someone to get vaccinated.

Well said.

Thank you, Dr T!
